Introducing Melbourne’s longest established and most acclaimed fire performance troupe, FireWorks Dance Company. With a decades experience and over 1000 spectacular fire shows performed at many of Melbourne and Australia’s top events and venues, FireWorks has gained a reputation not only for their high energy, high impact feature fire shows and roving entertainment acts, but also their attention to production and especially safety.

The proof is an outstanding client list, a high profile and an unblemished record that similar troupes can only dream of. Some examples of this is their Crown casino preferred artist status, Cirque du Soleil artist database listing and Circus Oz network membership to name just a few. A favorite in the corporate world, FireWorks has performed for many of the top 250 companies including Telstra, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Kenworth and the AFL and over the years have had a combined audience of over 500,000.

These artists come from varied backgrounds including traditional circus, street performance, physical theatre and cultural dance and display skills that include, Fire fan-dancing, Fire swallowing and Fakir (body trailing), Fire staff and Double staff, Fire Poi-chains and mace, Fire Devil-stick, Fire breathing, Fire sabre-fighting and the very special Flame-thrower just to name a few.

Other skills of note are side show acts like Bed of nails, Angle grinding, Candle Contortion and Fortune telling. Unique to FireWorks is the ability to combine all these performance skills with fire installations, signs and sculptures aswell as theatrical pyrotechnic displays to create a spectacle like no other. This one is one of energy, danger, grace and fire. Fire circus and dance, theatre and music are all combined into stunning stage productions to produce some of the most dynamic entertainment around today.
