Muscle Bound is an acrobatic duo that exhibits extreme power in a most effortless and graceful way. They will astound you with balance which will seem like magic if it weren’t performed right in front of you. Farhad Ahadi and Shannon McGurgan have a combine experience of 20 years in circus performance.

Farhad Ahadi learned his trade in his home country of Iran before spending time in Taiwan and Hong Kong. He was then snapped up by Silvers Circus, in Australia, where he performed for three years. Farhad has an uncanny sense of awareness on his hands and stands on his head as easily as he stands on one foot.

Shannon McGurgan is one of the first graduates from The National Institute of Circus Arts and also has an extensive international reputation with contracts in Turkey, The USA, Japan and even China. He most recently completed a 12-month tour with Circus Royale in Australia performing as both an acrobat and a fire manipulator. The rock of this duo Shannon stands fast at the base and gives this act its incredible sense of ease
