Daniel Gassin began playing piano at age three and a half and received individual piano lessons from the age of four. He performs widely in various ensembles, including his own trio, duo and solo piano work. Daniel’s musical style is characterised by a strong melodic sense coupled with a solid technique. He cites Herbie Hancock, Brad Mehldau, Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett and Baptiste Trottignon along with locals Mark Fitzgibbon and Colin Hopkins as his major influences.

Peter has been described by Sydney Morning Herald music writer John Shand as “one of Melbourne’s shining lights.” A superb trumpeter and vocalist, he has developed a strong reputation in Australia and beyond in the past fifteen years as a professional musician. Peter is well known for his ability to move between genres. He leads numerous groups from an accoustic duo, a classic smooth jazz trio, to a rip roaring funky five piece that gets everyone up dancing.
Sarah is known in Melbourne (and indeed around the country) as an exceptional young vocalist and a wonderful interpreter of songs. If you happen to come across one of her performances, you can't help but stay. Sarah's style is mixed but it's mainly pop/r&b (with a touch of jazz and Latin in some of the songs). Currently, Sarah is singing around Melbourne in the act "Maclaine & Paix" (a piano/vocal duo), and also in her band "The Sarah Maclaine Four" (Playing jazz/pop and r&b).

The Swing Club is a unit of musicians currently performing jazz, rhythm and blues, swing and Latin classics at various venues and private functions in and around Melbourne.
